Woven from 100% mulberry silk and sized with the traditional alum-and-glue method, this thick Chinese painting silk (juan 绢) gives fine-brush artists a smooth, luminous surface that holds a crisp line without bleeding. Ink glides, colour layers build cleanly, and the weave stays taut as you work. It is made for Chinese brush (毛笔) painting and calligraphy with ink and mineral colours, not for Western pen, nib, or marker lettering.
